1st Day: Guwahati Airport / Guwahati Railway station Arrival to Shillong – Guwahati Arrival and transfer to Shillong – Stay at Shillong. (Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 hrs)

Welcome to Awesome Assam. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the airport/Railway Station. Proceed to Shillong, also called ‘Scotland of the East”. Reach the majestic Umium Lake (Barapani). You may do the water sports here (Optional). On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening you can visit Police Bazaar which the biggest local market. Overnight stay in Shillong.

2nd Day: Shillong to Cherrapunjee – Visit Cherrapunjee Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, transfer to Cherrapunjee. Then visit to Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park. Evening transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

3rd Day: Cherrapunjee – Double Decker Root Bridge Sightseeing

After breakfast transfer to Cherrapunjee. Then Visit Double Decker Root Bridge and Rainbow Falls. Evening return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

4th Day: Cherrapunjee to Shillong – visit Dawki & Mawlynnong Village & Transfer to Shillong

After breakfast, visit Mawlynnong Village the cleanest village in India. This cute and colourful little village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 kms. From Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. later Visit Dawki, It is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal clear waters of the Umgnot River. Evening we will return back to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.

5th Day: Shillong to Kaziranga National Park – Visit Kaziranga National Park

Post breakfast Transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the ‘One Horned Indian Rhinoceros’. Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for Leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga National Park.

6th Day (Fri 6th November) : Kaziranga National Park – Elephant Safari And Jeep Safari

Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of an elephant. Apart from world’s endangered One Horned Indian Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world’s population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tiger anywhere. Kaziranga National Park is also a bird watcher’s paradise and home to some 500 species of Birds. We will return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon we proceed for a jeep safari. Overnight stay at Kaziranga National Park.

Kaziranga – Elephant Safari

7th Day: Kaziranga National Park to Guwahati – Transfer to Guwahati

After breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to Guwahati. Later as time permits we may take a tour of the Purva Tirupati Shri Balaji Temple, Sukreswar Temple, Navagraha Temple, Umananda Temple at the Peacock Island which is the smallest inhabited River Island in the World, Assam State Museum, DighaliPukhuri (Lake), State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Planetarium and the Assam State Emporiums. Later Proceed to the hotel and complete check in. Overnight in the Guwahati.

8th Day: Guwahati – Local Sightseeing 2

Post breakfast, visit to Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra a place where Assamese history and culture is presented, you may also visit the Assam Film Museum to know the History of Assamese Cinema. Visit GTAC Tea Lounge to enjoy a cup of finest Assam Tea and also carry some Tea back home. Here you will find the finest quality of Organic, CTC, Orthodox, Green Tea, White Tea, Purple Tea etc. You may also visit the local market. Assam is famous for Assam Silk particularly Golden Muga Silk, Assam Tea, Bamboo and Cane Products. Evening you may take a River Cruise (Direct Payment Basis) on the mighty River Brahmaputra. Later Proceed to the hotel. Overnight in the Guwahati.

9th Day: Guwahati to Departure – Guwahati Airport / Railway station Departure
